The baptism in Area IV church of Christ

Last July 5, 2009 we have a great rejoice in the Lord for the new sister in Christ named; Stelita Bajos a widow and a former Catholic. She was invited by the couple brother & sister Mentong and Adela Jabagat in our every sunday worship services. We are so thankful for this couple for their active and earnestly for the Lord in inviting people to draw near to God. Mrs. Stelita joined us only four times and we are thanks to God, for He touched her heart to obey the gospel of Christ. She was confessed and baptized into Christ at that time. Right, after our worship services we did the baptism of her.

The some brethren accompany to witness the baptism. You will see in the left side photo from front is my wife Nizhy, followed by Stelita Bajos [the candidate of baptism], Adela Jabagat, Hazel Gundao, Mentong Jabagat and Leonardo Jabagat. We are walking almost 400 meters along in the rice field and crossing in the salvage tree as bridge with nipa plants [right photo] to go in the river to do the baptism.

Paul says, "I will therefore that men PRAY EVERY WHERE, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting." (1 Tim.2:8).

"...in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were SAVED BY WATER: The LIKE FIGURE whereunto even BAPTISM doth ALSO NOW SAVE US...! (1 Peter 3:20-21).

I congratulate her for being a new creature in Christ. She looks happy for she knows that her sins are already forgiven. May God be with her to walk in newness of life (Rm.6:4).
We are all happy for the Lord to this new addition to his church. Please! include sister Stelita Bajos in your prayers to be faithful unto death...! (Acts 2:47; Rev.2:10)

The baptism in Jolo church of Christ on June 21, 2009

When I was in Bayugon on June 28 brother Bonifacio Buncag told me a good news that he has baptized one soul into Christ on June 21, 2009 in Jolo church of Christ with these pictures of baptism during that time. It was good to see his efforts to the Lord to serve Him faithfully despite of his situation of no support. He works in the constuction building in Puerto Princesa City to provide his family which is very short to their needs, especially his wife is sickly. He only come home in Bayugon [which he live] every sunday early morning and then go in Jolo church of Christ where he preaches. He was seeking a willing individual Christian or churches of Christ who would be able to support him even with the amount of $25 monthly, it will be a great contribution already to really be effective and productive for the Lord. He will certainly fully appreciates to anyone who want to have fellowship with him for the Gospel to Gods glory. If there is any interested brethren there in the U.S. who want to fellowship with this brother financially, please! let me know and I will put in contact him for you. Please! include him and his loving family and the family of God whom he served in this place in your prayers. God bless us! --In Christian love, Mitozyl A. Sanchez
